“The power of Visualization in Manifestation”
We have seen and practiced many manifestation techniques, be it affirmations, subliminal, SAT’s, or more. Now you might have heard about visualization, gone through many success stories related to it but are you using it in the correct way? Are you able to visualize perfectly? Is visualizing enough? Science behind it? If there was hesitancy in answering these questions then worry not because in this blog we are going to get some deep insights about Visualization and in the end I also have one small visualization scene for you 😉

What is Visualization?
Visualization is the technique that is used in creating visuals, images, or pictures to communicate a message. Here, in the manifestation community we use visualization to create a series of pictures or visual images in our mind which implement the fulfilment of our desires. We often hear ‘Live in the end’, we are advised to think from the state of wish fulfilled, to visualize every night before sleeping and right after waking up or in meditation, the wish fulfilled state. So, in your mind’s eye you form an image that aligns with your desire.
Every image you create in your mind, while sleeping or in consciousness related to your desire is nothing less than visualization.
Visualization and Imagination
Visualization is the creation of mental images, which we may have experienced previously. It does not involve the inclusion of senses or feelings much while on the other hand Imagination is the formation of the mental movie, it includes the working of all the senses and feelings in the process. Both the terms are closely related to each other and they are equally important in the process of manifestation. Sometimes, it becomes hard to carry on your imagination when you are facing a lot of resistance. At that time you can use the technique of Visualization.
How to visualize properly?
Visualization is different from imagination. Visualization is just creating 2-3 images in your mind’s eye, these images can be copied from another. Let’s understand how to visualise properly:
- Make a vision board: When you are aware of what you want you can easily cut and paste some pictures on a board, see it daily and believe that it’s already your reality. Making a vision board helps us to create a desired mental image easily.
- Use Inner conversations: Our brain understands the language of images and feelings, so, whenever you are thinking or having thoughts, your brain converts it into images that you might not be conscious of (the process is a bit quick *too quick) this is the reason we say have good thoughts. Make your conversations with yourselves interesting and meaningful.
- Guided visualization: This can be in any form, script, audio, video, it might be general or customised to you desire. Here, a voice helps direct your mind towards your desired goals or simply creating a powerful mental image through correct usage of words.
- Sketch your goals: Draw out on paper or board your thoughts, give your mental image a physical image. It helps trick your brain into believing that your mental image is real.
- Meditation: One of the best and most commonly used method to visualise properly. Here, you are just shutting out your senses to the outer world, going within and being with the mental image that you’ve created.
Science behind Visualisation
When you visualize anything you’re activating the right side of your brain that activates the similar neural pathways that are involved when you are experiencing something in real life, that is your brain doesn’t understand the difference between the real and visualised scene and reacts in the same way it would’ve reacted in real life situations. So, on repetition of the same visual again and again you can create the outcome of your desired reality.
Visualization is not something that you have to be perfect on because after all it’s your state and believes that manifest and not the techniques, but visualisation can help you in many ways like:
- It helps your mind and body relax
- Visualising something consciously create a positive outcome
- It can instantly boost your mood
- Helps improve the ability to imagine
- Is a good diet food for your brain
A quick Visualisation exercise
I know this is what you had been waiting for, but before starting just know that Persistence and Consistence are the two keys to get you to your desired reality.
Sit at a comfortable place, read this slowly, and focus all your attention here.
- In a comfortable place, sit down and take 3 deep breaths. Inhale – Exhale. Inhale – Exhale. Inhale – Exhale.
- Now, visualize yourself lying down peacefully in a hammock strung between two palm trees on a secluded beach. The sand down there is warm and soft. The breeze is slowly flowing through your face as can feel the peace in your heart.
- The sky is clear, bright blue with fluffy white clouds drifting lazily. The waves hitting the shore is creating a beautiful rhythm. You can smell the salty air of the ocean. In that beautiful scene, you have whatever you’re desiring, your partner is by your side, the luxury life you had been wanting is here, you have achieved all that you wanted and now it’s time to relax and appreciate yourself.
- You smile to yourself thinking how stupid I was to think that my desires were far off me, while all this time it was here. Feel the joy of the moment, satisfaction.
- Be there, breathe there, and walk on the soft sand there. Waves slowly coming to your feet and pulling you towards it as you walk hand in hand with your loved one. Laughing and singing.
- It’s done. Now you remember “Oh! I have manifested the same scene from the blog that was posted by magic mindset, that’s wonderful. Thanks God, I’m grateful for you & this moment.”
- Come out. Be still breathe your visual in your reality. Trust and let go.
I’ll end this here and leave you with this happy feeling, but do tell me if you liked this small visualization exercise. You can also check out my other blogs on Inner trauma: Meditation and Shadow work to get to know yourself better.
